EU-Iran forum in Geneva to focus on banking and investments

Berlin, Jul 20, IRNA -- The second EU-Iran Forum will be held in Geneva, Switzerland in September, according to the Hamburg-based German-Iranian Chamber of Commerce.

The two-day conference, scheduled for September 24, is to dwell primarily on paving the way for better conditions for the financial and investment sector in Iran.

The forum is to promote dialogue and closer cooperation between leading managers in the financial and investment spheres.

Top financial experts as well as banking representatives from the US, Europe and Iran are to address the conference in the Swiss city.

Several major European cities, among them Berlin, Rome, Vienna and Madrid, have been the scene of a series of Iran business conferences in recent months as more and more European companies are flocking to Iran to explore business opportunities in that country in the wake of the historic July 14 nuclear agreement in Vienna.
