Ex-diplomat: Britain has adopted more sensible approach than France

Tehran, July 7, IRNA – A former Foreign Ministry spokesman has said the Western side of the Iranian nuclear talks intends to put pressure on the Iranian negotiation team.

In an interview with IRIB radio channel, Hamidreza Asefi said the 5+1 is trying to imply that this is the last round of talks, but the act is media propaganda to pressure Iran.

He added that the negotiations are very complicated and anything may happen.

“We must reach a deal that is very detailed and without ambiguity,” the former official stressed.

Asefi who served as Iran’s ambassador to Paris pointed to policy changes within the group of world powers and said that Britain has adopted a more sensible approach than France, Tehran Times said.
