ISESCO condemns Israeli action to seize Freedom Flotilla

Tehran, June 30, IRNA – Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) on Tuesday condemned seizure of Freedom Flotilla Gaza 3 vessel carrying humanitarian supplies to the people of Gaza Strip.

ISESCO said in a statement that Israeli regime perpetrated sea piracy manifest breach of Rome Statute 1998 according to which the people are accountable before the International Criminal Court.
ISESCO called on the international community to put pressure on the Zionist regime to promptly release all people on board and guarantee their safety.
Advocates of Palestine including well-known social and political characters in an effort to break eight years blockade on Gaza Strip, departed for the area on flotilla last Friday.
They aim to draw attention of the world people about Gaza blockade and deterioration of humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The Zionist regime on Monday forced a Swedish ship named ' Marian' from the group of flotilla to change its route toward a port in occupied Palestine.
