Vaezi, heading a delegation will arrive in Ankara on Tuesday morning at the invitation of Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz .
The Iranian delegation is to meet and discuss issues of mutual interest with senior Turkish officials, including Cevdet Yilmaz, Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Minister of Transportation, Maritime and Communication Lutfi Elvan and Minister of Sciences, Industry and Technology Fikri Isik.
During his 2-day stay in Ankara, Vaezi will review the latest developments in Iran-Turkey relations, follow up the agreements signed during the 24th joint commission meeting and explore ways of raising Tehran-Ankara trade exchange to 30 billion dollars annually.
At the beginning of the new year, during a meeting in Tehran between Turkish Economic Minister Nihat Zeybekci and Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mohammad Reza Ne'matzadeh both sides officially declared implementation of a preferential trade agreement between the two countries.
