Vietnam welcomes setting up trade exhibits: ambassador

Mashhad, Dec 8, IRNA – Vietnamese ambassador to Tehran, Nguyen Hong Thach, said on Monday that Vietnam is ready to set up exhibitions on general and professional products and introducing capabilities of the two countries.

The ambassador made the remarks in the meeting with the managing director of Mashhad international exhibitions Mohammad-Javad Hamid.
The two countries should make use of capabilities of one another to broaden economic cooperation, he said.
Exhibitions create suitable opportunities for active presence of private sectors and experts for cooperation in various fields, he underlined.
Vietnam is very active in shoe making and wood industries, but, Iran is very capable in petrochemical, polymer and agriculture and can set up exhibitions in Vietnam, he said.
The Vietnamese officials have broad-based programs to broaden economic cooperation and increase current volume of trade with Iran, he said.
Managing director of Mashhad international exhibition, for his part, said having enough experience for setting up exhibitions in 30 countries, the provincial department is ready to set up commercial exhibition in Vietnam.
Mashad international exhibition department hosts some 50 exhibits every year and for the first time it will set up 70 national and international exhibits, he said.
Mashhad international exhibition has turned into and industrial exhibition hub in the central Asia, he said.
Cooperation between Iran and Vietnam in North-South corridor in central Asia, could play significant role in expansion of economic cooperation in the region, Mohammad Javad Hamid said.
