DyFM: Fight against radicalism should be real, truthful

Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and African Affairs said Iran had always underlined that fight against terrorism and radicalism should be a real and truthful one upon international laws and regulations.

According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department on Sunday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a meeting with his counterpart from Zech Republic, underlined importance of consultations and exchanging views with international and regional sides to access a joint cooperation to settle regional problems.

Referring to importance of the Middle East region for world economy and politics, Amir-Abdollahian said that considering high capacities of the region, security and stability in the region would be beneficial for the world community and it is necessary that all countries have a responsible behavior before current developments in the area.

Martin Tlapa, who is in Tehran for political consultations, by referring to important role of Iran in promotion of security and solving current problems in the region, said that Iran, in spite of threats in its surrounding area, is a stable country in the heart of the Middle East and owns high capacities and Czech Republic wants to talk with Iran for promotion of ties in different fields.

Expressing concern over growing trend of radicalism and terrorism in the region, Tlapa said that threats of terrorism and radicalism in the Middle East, has doubled necessity of coordination and cooperation in international society and joint action for fight against this threat.
