Mehmanparast: Syrian people to give crushing response to Zionists aggressions

Tehran, May 5, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Sunday strongly condemned the Zionist regimeˈs missile attacks on suburbs of Damascus and said there is no doubt that Syria as well as Islamic resistance will give a crushing response to the aggressions of the Zionists.

The dastardly missile attack on the suburbs of Damascus reveals the inhumane nature of the Zionists and their helplessness in dealing with the Islamic resistance, he said.

Mehmanparast called on the United Nation and its affiliated bodies to strongly condemn the brutal act and take necessary measures to prevent such aggressions, he said.

There is no doubt that the Zionistsˈ action is a blatant breach of the UN Charter and its principles which call for respecting the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, he said.

The Zionist regime fired several missiles at suburbs of Damascus which is regarded as blatant violation of international law and regulations as well as UN Charter.
