IKRF, BISP sign MoU for active cooperation

Islamabad, Sept 20 IRNA – Imam Khomeini Relief foundation (IKRF) and Pakistan’s Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) on Thursday signed an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to coordinate on youth vocational training programs.

Head of IKRF Hossein Anvari and Chairperson (BISP) Farzana Raja signed the MoU in Islamabad.

According to the MoU, both parties express their willingness to strengthen their cooperation for youth vocational training programs.

This MoU further called for closer relations between the humanitarian organizations of the two countries, in collaboration between IKRF and BISP.

By signing this agreement, BISP and IKRF pledged for utilizing their useful experience in presenting successful management and supportive models in the field of social services including employment through vocational & technical education.

This may be remembered that BISP is already working in collaboration with various organizations of different countries like China, Turkey and UAE.

Head of Imam Khomeini Relief foundation Hossein Anvari has led the Iranian delegation during the meetings with the BISP officials and discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation.

The meetings were held at the headquarters of Benazir Income Support Programme in a cordial and warm atmosphere.

Iranˈs Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Reza Haghighian was also present in the meetings.

Expressing his views, Hossein Anvari said that Iran and Pakistan have long history of cordial relations and after the Islamic Revolution the relations improved even further.

Also expressing her views, Federal minister and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Farzana Raja said that both organizations have been meeting regularly which shows their commitment to enhancement of mutual cooperation.

She lauded the role of Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation (IKRF) in helping the needy people and its contribution in Pakistan.
