Hollande will steer clear of Sarkozy obeying US, Tel Aviv regime: MP

Tehran, May 7, IRNA – Newly-elected French President Francois Hollande is expected to steer France clear of Sarkozy who led the country as follower of the US and Tel Aviv regime, Member of Majlis Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy Mohammad Karamirad said on Monday.

He said that President Hollande had called for independent foreign policy in his election campaign.
Karamirad said that outgoing president Nicolas Sarkozy had put himself at the service of Washington violating independence of the French government.
He said that the French people got the point that they had made mistake by electing Sarkozy as their president, because they found him as follower of Washington on issues related to the French people.
“Sarkozy’s deplorable national and international policy forced the French people to bring to power the Socialist Party after 17 years.”
Karamirad said that Hollande has critical views about the European Union something which has worried the EU leaders.
He predicted that the newly-elected president will not obey instructions of Washington and Tel Aviv lobby in France.
