Iran to stop oil exports to certain countries soon, oil minister says

He told reporters after a cabinet meeting that the government is considering to halt oil exports to certain countries.

The Parliament's Energy Commission is currently studying to draft a bill to stop oil exports to European countries.

The measure is a reaction to the European Union which announced sanctions on Iranian oil to take effect from July 1.

The EU said in the meantime that it would examine the market situation in May to decide whether or not to go ahead with the sanctions.
